Union Hospital's Pain Management Center has moved into spacious new offices on the first floor of Union Hospital.
The Pain Management center medical staff includes Charles V. Barrett, D.O., John W. Hill, M.D., and Andrew M. Luxenberg, M.D.
Dr. Barrett is the Center's medical director. All three physicians are certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
The Pain Management Center at Union Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services for patients with chronic pain. Through the combined expertise of a team of specialists, Union Hospital is offering some of the most advanced treatment options currently available. Our goal is to decrease your level of pain and suffering, to return you to your maximum level of functioning and independence, and help you restore your quality of life. Our Center welcomes each patient in a supportive, compassionate environment.
Within the Pain Management Center is a team of specialists including physicians specializing in pain medicine, nurses, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists and social workers. They work together as needed to offer a comprehensive evaluation and develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
The patient's treatment plan is designed to meet the degree of pain, the patient's needs and objectives. The plan may include a single approach or a combination of therapies including medications, special procedures, psychological therapy, and rehabilitation.
