Chocolate Love A'fair A Hit Despite the Snow
The weather may have slowed them down but not rain, sleet, or 12 inches of snow could stop local chocolate lovers from flocking to the annual Chocolate Love A'fair on Feb. 6 at JIM's Place in New Philadelphia. The event, sponsored by the Union Hospital Auxiliary, lived up to its reputation as THE place to come each year to have your fill, and then some, of everything chocolate.
The Judge's Choice Award for best chocolate creation was won by Buehler's Supermarket in New Philadelphia for their Blue Ribbon Fudge Bar Cake while the People's Choice award went to the Canel Street Diner in Bolvar for their Double Fudge Brownie Cups with vanilla cream sauce.
