Dr. Lindsey Moore of the office of UPS Dermatology at Dover will be the featured doctor when Union Hospital’s Community Health & Wellness Department holds its monthly “Walk With A Doc” this Saturday (Nov. 5) at the hospital campus.
Walkers will gather at 9 a.m. on the patio located just outside the hospital’s cafeteria for the brief health-related discussion with Dr. Moore, followed by a rejuvenating walk on the hospital’s walking trail. Union Hospital’s campus features a walking trail that is open to the public.
Dr. Moore is a native of Malvern in Carroll County and earned her medical degree in dermatology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. She served an internal medicine residency at Akron General Medical Center and completed a dermatology residency at the University of Missouri.
The entire event is free and no registration is necessary.
The event is for walkers of any age and there is absolutely no cost to attend. Healthy snacks and water will be available, and free blood-pressure checks also will be featured through the expertise of the Union Hospital Community Health and Wellness staff.
Dr. Moore also will provide a brief health-related discussion and will be available to answer questions and encourage participants.
