Dr. Jack E. Kehl III has been a part of one of the best surgical teams in the United States and now he is bringing that experience to serve the patients of the Tuscarawas Valley.
Dr. Kehl, a native of Ohio who recently completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, has joined the practice of UPS Regional Surgical Associates located on the campus of Union Hospital. He also will be treating patients at the Union Hospital Wound Healing Center located on the ground floor of the hospital.
“I’m very pleased to be back in Ohio and to be a part of the team at UPS Regional Surgical Associates and Union Hospital,” Kehl said. “I am very impressed with the staff’s sincere dedication to providing outstanding care to its patients.”
Dr. Kehl has experience in endocrine, colorectal, gastrointestinal, breast and hernia surgery, as well as endoscopy and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Kehl, a native of Newark in Licking County, graduated summa cum laude from Cedarville University before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He participated in clinical research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society for academic excellence.
Dr. Kehl said the five years he spent at the Mayo Clinic gave him a remarkable breadth of experience with the cutting edge treatments for complex surgical problems that have driven the Mayo Clinic to be consistently ranked as the best hospital in the country for gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Kehl joins Dr. Marcus C. Cox, Dr. Robert M. Levitt and Dr. Joseph N. Zemis at UPS Regional Surgical Specialists, which has its office at 400 Medical Park Dr., Suite 203. Dr. Kehl is accepting new patients and can be contacted at (330) 343-3433.
Dr. Kehl and his wife Taylor, a native of Wooster, have two sons, ages 3 and 21 months, and are expecting a daughter in September.
