Every year, thousands of people keep tabs on their health with a free or low-cost screening, learn more about new medical procedures from a UH physician, or take part with family and friends in fitness events or programs.

Walk With A Doc is a nationally recognized walking program that encourages people to become active and more fit through the simple and basic exercise of walking. The Union Hospital Community Health and Wellness program is now a participant in this valuable effort, hosting FREE monthly walks under the guidance of Dr. Aruna Rao.
The medical director of the Community Health and Wellness program and the hospital's Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, Dr. Rao greets walkers and provides helpful health information each month, along with FREE healthy snacks, water and blood-pressure checks.
