At the Wound Healing Center at Union Hospital, we become a partner in the patient’s medical care. Through regular progress reports and phone calls we work with your doctor and other experts in the program to develop a total approach to treatment and care.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

One of the specialized treatments being offered is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. During this treatment, the patient is surrounded with 100 percent oxygen. It increases the amount of oxygen in the patient’s blood, and in some wounds, allows the red blood cells to more easily reach the wound to heal it from the inside out.
