Our Program

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Union Hospital is designed to help patients move through the "continuum of care" and to their discharge destination in the most medically appropriate and cost-effective way. Patients benefit from 24-hour nursing care and daily doctor visits. And each patient is required to participate in three total hours of therapy each day.

Our objective is to get our patients home and restore their daily routines. To accomplish this, we have established the following goals:

• Personal grooming and dressing daily
• Individual and group leisure activities
• Eating and socializing in group settings
• Participation in an individualized therapy program
