Over 3,200 patients have received cancer treatments close to home, thanks to a partnership formed 11 years ago between Union Hospital and Aultman Hospital to create the Regional Cancer Center. A beautiful new facility, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, the Regional Cancer Center is conveniently located on the Union Hospital campus in Dover.

Since the center opened, it has saved patients an estimated 4 million miles of daily travel to out-of-county treatment centers for daily radiation therapy programs -- typically lasting five to seven weeks. Not only are patients' travel distances much shorter, but patients who could not make that trip at all have access to these potentially life-saving treatments from Board Certified radiation oncologists, therapists and physicists.
