yUHr Move! is an exercise program designed to improve flexibility, endurance, balance, and strength in individuals with movement disorders (Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, etc.). Physical therapists at the UH Healthplex lead this active exercise class.

According to the latest research, exercise has proven to be very beneficial for individuals with movement disorders. The Union Hospital Healthplex has used that research to design exercise training for individuals with movement disorders.

The Movers and Shakers Against Parkinson's of Tuscarawas County provides funding for Healthplex physical therapists to receive specialized training to offer this program. One of their biggest fundraisers is the annual Mark's Place Healthy is Beautiful 10K Run.The next race is Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Schoenbrunn Village State Memorial in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
